This place is sooo beautiful! I have been to the dallas arboretum and I dont mean to put one down to lift up the other, but THIS is a botanic garden. Lots of natural spaces that are beautiful. I fell in love with the Japanese gardens. So many peaceful magical spots. Also saw a lot of wildlife which to me signifies that this place is doing things right. 10/10 recommend.

I visited the Fort Worth Botanic Garden whilst I was visiting the USA for the FIFA World Cup and I wanted a peaceful change from the city and crowds. I was very impressed with the range of planting and the Japanese Garden was the best I've seen outside Japan - the hard landscaping, planting and water features made for a serene relaxing environment on a hot Texas afternoon. Compared to the other Botanic Garden I visited whilst in Dallas I much preferred the Fort Worth one - it had more variety and the Japanese Garden itself was worth the entry fee. My only complaint would be the difficulty in getting there by public transport - I realise that is not normally a consideration in the USA, but it's a shame that none of the local bus services stopped near the entrance.

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden is an absolute gem. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the layouts are thoughtful, and every section feels like its own little world. The Japanese Garden is especially stunning — peaceful pathways, koi ponds, and picture‑perfect bridges. The Rose Garden is equally impressive when in bloom, and the staff clearly takes pride in keeping everything vibrant and healthy. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing walk, family outing, or photography day. Plenty of shaded areas, clean facilities, and friendly staff make the experience even better. Easily one of the best attractions in Fort Worth. Highly recommend visiting — you’ll leave feeling refreshed.

As a wedding and engagement photographer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the Fort Worth Botanic Garden is one of my absolute favorite places to photograph. Whether I’m capturing an engagement session or a full wedding day, the entire property offers such a beautiful and timeless backdrop. The gardens are incredibly well maintained and every area feels unique. From the lush greenery and seasonal blooms to the stone architecture and peaceful pathways, there is so much variety for photos without ever feeling repetitive. It is one of those locations that photographs beautifully in every season and in every type of light. The staff has always been kind and helpful, and the overall experience at the garden is consistently wonderful. I highly recommend the Fort Worth Botanic Garden to any couple looking for a beautiful location for engagement photos or a wedding day.

We recently visited the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and had such a great experience, especially for the kids. They absolutely loved it and even brought a camera along to take photos of the butterflies, which made it even more fun and interactive for them. The gardens are beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained, with plenty to explore at your own pace. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy nature, and let the kids be curious. Whether you’re walking the paths or stopping to take in the details, it’s a really enjoyable outing for the whole family. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the Fort Worth area.
